It's going...

I've been busy!  Sorry about not posting.  I will try to catch you up :)

I am a member of this closed group on Facebook that is local and you can post things to sell.  I have been bombarding them with things, and they have been buying!  I have sold tons of books and scrapbooking supplies, but that also means I have to deliver those things!  Crikey!  I also sold my bed...and someone is coming to look at my big desk.  This house is going to feel and look so incredibly empty by Mother's Day!  Ready or not, I guess.  Really, I'm doing quite well with it all.  I am just so ready to have this phase behind me.  There are still so many unknowns about our future that I am ready to face them and make them known!  ha!

I'm not sure I have given our schedule to y'all, so I'm sharing it now!  If I already did this, feel free to skip all this.

May 19-24     We will be in Nashville, TN for appointment week and commissioning into the IMB

May 25-26     We wil have our big yard sale selling anything that we have left (which means we will have    an empty house and no where to sleep...I struggle with this part.  We will be living with other people for 4 weeks).  We will stay with Cam's parents the end of May until the first week of June.

June 5-6      We will be taking our youth group on an overnight canoe trip.  This first week we will be staying with a sweet friend from church who is actually leaving to spend the summer in Colorado.  We will "borrow" his home for a week.

June 11-15   Youth Camp  Who needs a home when you could be at camp?!  HA!

June 18-22  Vacation Bible School.  We will be house-sitting for some friends this week.  We will play with their dog, water their plants, and enjoy their pool!  :)

June 24th  Our last Sunday at Lane Prairie.  We aren't sure what the plans are after this, but I *think* we get to go spend a few days (or the week) with my dear sweet Shawna!

After that, we will visit with family and spend a couple weeks in Colorado.  On July 18th or 19th, we will start our drive to Virginia.  We report for training on the 23rd.  We will be there for 8 weeks.  The last part of September and early October, we will be back "home".  We will fly to Vancouver, Canada mid October, where we will live until mid-January.  Then we go to our "destination" for three years.

A lot of busy things going on and some tough "lasts", but we are thrilled that the Lord has called us to this life.  It will be an exciting adventure for sure!

I should also say that at some point I will have to either go private on my blog or stop altogether.  There are some things that can't be talked about, and we all know I'm not the best at not talking about things!  ha!!  I would rather share with you all exactly what we are doing and where we are!  But seriously, if you have questions or are curious about something, feel free to email me and ask.  Or comment and I will answer in my next post.  :)
