Thankfulness

This month is about being thankful.  I'm also reading a book about being thankful.  So, in honor of all this, I am going to try my very best to post some things every day that I am thankful for!

1. Jesus.  I love Him.  I am thankful He paid the penalty for my sin.  I am thankful that He loves me unconditionally.  I am thankful that He walks through life with me, guiding me in every decision I make and that He carries me when my feet can no longer take another step.  I am most thankful for Him.
2. My Husband.  Cameron was made for me.  He is the other half that makes me whole.  I am thankful that he is my best friend.  I am thankful that he "gets me" when no one else would.  I am thankful that with a look, we can know what the other is thinking.  I am thankful for the way he follows Jesus even when it seems crazy to everyone else.  I am thankful he is taller than me and that he weighs more than me (it may seem stupid to you, but this is my list, so hush).  I am thankful for the great big man hands that he has.  I love them.  They remind me of my Dad's hands and they bring happy memories and they tell me that he will always catch me and that he works hard.  He may show up again because there is a lot about him that I am thankful for.
3. Family.  I am thankful for all the parts that make up my family.  Even the crazy people that make me wonder if they really are related to me at all, because those crazy people have a purpose in my family, and they make it whole.  Family encompasses a lot.  And I will probably add more thankful thoughts about family as well in the coming month, because family means a lot.  I wouldn't be here without family!

This is all for tonight.  And tomorrow, my thankful list may only be one worded.  I'm just warning you.  Today I was feeling wordy.  Tomorrow I may not.
