Halloween 2011

It was the strangest thing.  My mama came into town on Friday morning to hang out with us and be here to see the girlies all dressed up, but my sister-in-love was due to have a baby any moment.  So, we were on stand-by.  Actually, what that means is that we were carrying our phones around like it was a third hand and driving Shanna crazy texting Shanna whenever we thought about it.  Well, because Mama was here, Cam and I got to go on a date (YES!).  We snuck quietly into the house super late Saturday night (10 pm) and I promptly started having these very weird cramp like pains that would come every couple minutes then go away.  I also became super nauseous.  It was weird, but not uncommon for me because, you see, I have labor with those people I'm close to.  Seriously.  Cam looked at me and said that maybe I should check on Shanna.  I didn't until Sunday morning, but guess what?  Yep.  She had started having contractions and was super nauseous Saturday night.  Sometimes I think Jesus made me not only a Jesus freak but a freak of nature...ANYWAY...I have a precious new nephew.  I named him.  Not really, but I can pretend because it is my most favorite name and it would have been my son's name if I ever had one, even though Cam totally thinks he would have named our son Hank.  He's crazy too.  Maybe that is why we are married, but I digress.  His name is Seth Wade.  It fits him.  I love it!
In honor of a new baby in the family, I left my baby with Mama and brought home my niece and nephew, Cambry and Caden, to spend the week with us.  We have great big plans this week, but the first event was the Fall Festival at church!  I just love this time of year.  We get all creative and decorate our home, and the weather is nice and there is always something sweet laying around.  It is just the best!  So, we got all dressed up in our finest costumes and went to play some games!
This is Gracie the Peacock pecking at Cambry the Pioneer Woman.  Gracie had a really hard time doing this because, you see, she doesn't like to make a fool of herself.  Sometimes I make her, but she does it reluctantly.  She was CRACKING up in this picture.  She couldn't help it.  And I admit, it was pretty funny that she was in bird form pecking her best friend...
This is Hunter Caden, or Colby from Top Shot, and Bumblebee Faith.  I told Caden to pretend to shoot Faith and for her to act scared.  You like that look?  That is her, "are you kidding me?" look.  I about lost it.  She makes sunshine in my life.
So pretty.  Pretty as a peacock :)
This girl lives on her toes.  She was dancing around getting right on the tippy top of those toes.

So now we have candy.  LOTS of candy.  If you know someone, or a small country, that needs some sugar, we can help!  OH!  And guess what?!  I have 6 packages of Halloween Oreos in my pantry.  I thought I would stock up and maybe they would last until the Christmas ones come out...
