Happenings

Gracie left for kids camp again today.  She was super excited, but Faith sure was upset!  She cannot, for the life of her, understand why kindergartners can't go to camp!  She just sat in her bed with tears running down her face as Gracie packed her bag.  It was sad, frustrating, and sweet all at the same time!  One of the Mamas that went to camp with the kids sent me a video of them singing...Gracie was a dancing fool!  I just don't understand why she won't cut loose in front of me!  I do, however, love that she doesn't take herself seriously in front of others!

We got some testing results back from the mission board (the girls had to take some tests to gauge where they were academically).  Gracie is doing great, excelling even.  Faith, however, not so much.  She is right on target for a beginning reader, but apparently she should be more than a beginning reader...hmmm.  That means we started some summer school today.  Don't tell Faith though.  She thinks we are doing crafts!  She is looking forward to tomorrow when she gets to draw the events from a new book in sequential order...

Ellie is doing great.  She is throwing less throw down fits and talking more like a little adult.  She cracks me up!  She hasn't cut her hair in awhile now, which is HUGE in this house.  She is still Ellie, or Stinkerella as she wants to be called!  Ha!

Cam and I are better.  Thanks for the prayers.  We have a big interview with the IMB on August 16th.  Other than the interview, we can expect to be voted on by the board either in November or January.  Then, we will get a move date of either April or July.  Yikes.  So, please keep praying!  My heart needs it...don't get me wrong.  I am super excited about what the Lord is doing and where He is taking us, but I know leaving my family and my best friend is going to break my heart...
