We have been ridiculously busy. In a good way though! So far, every day this week has been full of things to do. I will highlight the more fun ones :)
Tuesday, we went and canoed the Brazos River with our youth. Cameron and I rowed our three girlies for over 9 miles...in freezing temperatures with no sunshine. I have never been in a canoe nor have I ever had to paddle anything in my lifetime. My body screamed that information to me Tuesday night and Wednesday. Ha! There are muscles in my arms and back that I really never knew existed!
Wednesday, I painted my kitchen. Yes, we live in a rental. I couldn't handle it anymore though. It is now two very soothing shades of tan with clean, bright, white trim. It looks so much better! I know it frustrates Cam when I spend money on a house that isn't ours to make changes that the owners don't really care about, but I am so thankful he doesn't say anything and lets me do it anyway!
Today, Thursday, we went to Six Flags. It was insane! The girls had fun even though we didn't get to ride very many rides and the waits were oh so long. In fact, when we pulled in to the park, there were signs saying that the park was full, come back another day for a more enjoyable visit. Isn't that crazy!?! AND. We had to park at the Ballpark because Six Flags Parking was full. It was crazy. Really.
Tomorrow, I have to clean my house and find my kitchen floor before my brother and his family come for a visit in the evening. I cannot wait to see them!
