Faith is sick...

On Sunday afternoon Faith told me her head hurt.  When I asked her where it hurt, she said, "all over".  A bit later I asked how her head was, and she replied, "my tummy hurts".  Then, later, it was her foot.  Then her chest.  Then back to her head.  I, being the fabulous Mama that I am, figured she was just wanting to skip church and didn't really feel bad.  She seemed fine through church and most of the way through dinner at Braums, but then she said her tummy hurt again.  Hmmm.  Later that night, after the girls were in bed, while I was in the shower, I heard a SCREAM that told me someone was hurt.  I thought, "oh no.  we are going to have to go the ER".  Then the door opens and Cam, who is frustrated that the screamer (Faith) won't tell him WHY she is screaming, asks if she is going to throw up.  She says, yyyeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss.  And she did.  A tiny bit.  Then she went to bed.  The next day, she was so very tired and laid on the chaise lounge all day sleeping off and on (no fever or any symptoms).  At around one, she was great!  We had school, she played outside, she was, by all appearances, normal.  At 5:00 she laid down in the recliner and didn't move until Cam carried her to bed.  She didn't eat dinner (I did take her temp again about this time and it was 103!!!!!!!!!!)  Argh.  After a restless night, I checked her throat this morning to find all sorts of little white blisters in her throat.  She goes to the doctor in an hour...what do wanna bet it is strep?

Side note:  She is HILARIOUS when she takes Motrin.  I mean, wide eyed, delayed responses, HUGE cheeser grin.  It was sooo funny.  I'm thinking, even though she is 6, she doesn't actually need 2 teaspoons.  Ha!
