Today was SO MUCH BETTER!! We started the day with prayer, inviting Jesus to our school day. This seems like a given, I know. I always want Him there, and I know He is always with us, but by asking Him specifically before we start to guide our words, actions, and learning, we are demonstrating active faith. Not only is it important to my girls to do this, but for me as well. And I must say, the days that I have started with prayer have always gone so much smoother! Anyway, after getting permission from Kellie (thanks girl--sometimes we just need someone to say it is okay to relax!), we approached our lessons much more casually. I was prepared to stop at any point and take a rest, but Faith flew through her book today! I think the difference was that today's book had 3-4 lines per page and yesterdays had 9 or 10. She kept saying, "this is so short!". It wasn't as intimidating to her, and she did fabulously! Gracie finally grasped double digit multiplication and decided that it is, in fact, easy. After school, we babysat our little boy Ethan and made a birthday cake for Cam and my friend Pam at church to take up to youth dinner tonight. Here is a peek at that work of love...
It is tiny on here! Sorry about that...you can see it on facebook :)

Oh yay! I'm so glad today went better. She'll get it when she is ready. No worries :)
