First thing in the am
This is her buddy Karsyn. They look so much alike that I had to share!
She wanted to have a sleepover party, so she invited five of her friends to spend the night. I was trying to be frugal and use what I have around here in my crafty places for favors, so I ended up using my leftover fabrics (I am a horrible judge of how much to buy when I sew) to make them all a pillowcase with their initial on it and a matching eye mask! They turned out adorable. I will post some "real" pictures for you when I figure out how to get them onto my Mac from my camera (these are from my phone). My old laptop had a card reader for that...and I am just too lazy to put them on my old computer and then onto a jump drive and then onto here. So, you must suffer in suspense of their cuteness until I get it done. :) Back to the party. They got here around 5, and we made personal pizzas for dinner. Then they did makeovers and some crafty things. Then they had mini cupcakes, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate dipped oreos and strawberries, and some lemonade. That was sufficient fuel for giggles and squeals and crazy hyper-ness that truly made me grateful for a house of girls. I love it. I love every second of their girly shenanigans!! Once they played with all the toys and had a secret room of, well, secrets, they settled down for a movie. We said our prayers and off to la-la land they went. I think most made it until almost 11 before they succumbed to blissful slumber. Faith had a lot of fun with her girlfriends, and I had a lot of fun watching and hanging out with my Mama while we picked up after them all! ha!
