WHAT is wrong with parents??!! I teach 10 Cubbies every week and 7 of those 10 have severe discipline issues. As in,they don't get any. It makes me feel sorry for the kids because without that structure, they are headed for destruction. Not to mention the parents having to deal with them when they are teenagers. I had three parents/grandparents decided to sit in tonight (another soapbox for another day) and their kids were AWFUL. Did they do anything? No. Of course not. Their children are angels. Would I have been in trouble if I had done anything? Absolutely. I was warned. Good thing they don't know I made their precious cry last week

That being said, I am medicating my bad night with homemade chocolate chip cookies and a cup of creamy sweet coffee. Church was NOT edifying to the soul tonight. But it sure taught me how hard it is to love the unloveable four year old. And their indulgent parents...
