Faith is FIVE!!

I totally copied this idea from Jaymie, but these are staying up in the playroom as decor. It wasn't for the party, but I thought they were cute...

Blowing out her candles that never blow out...too funny!

Faith had a rock star party on Thursday afternoon with her little friends. My intention was for it to be a playdate with no stress for me...where I got to sit and relax with the moms. HOWEVER, Little Miss wanted to have decorations and favors and games and...so it turned into more of a party than a playdate, much to my chagrin. It was sweet though. We made glittery stars and hung them all over and streamers were in select places (tastefully hung if I might say). I made a star cake and some cupcakes with little guitar and star candies on top. The house was a display of bright pink, purple, teal, and yellow. There were balloons and a banner outside and fun music streaming through the house. It was most definitely festive! My mom and I made homemade pizza for lunch, and all the ladies did indeed get to sit around and visit for hours. It was divine. The kiddos danced and did crafts and had a BIG silly string war outside. They giggled and giggled and screamed and sang. It was music to my ears. All in all, the celebration was everything we had intended it to be.
