Nine Years Later

It is early afternoon and I hear the light happy laughter of guests and the words "Going to the chapel and we're gonna get marrrraaaaarrrrried" playing above it. I look around the corner and see my friends dressed in lavender dresses skipping down the church aisle synchronized with sunglass sporting groomsmen. Up ahead I see my groom to be with his Oakley's on grinning from ear to ear pleased as punch. What are they doing? I wonder. It makes no difference to me though because in just a few moments I will become Mrs. Cameron Strange! I felt beautiful in the white satin gown draped over my body, carrying a sunny arrangement of daisies and roses. This is it. This is the moment I have been waiting for and dreaming about for all of my short 18 years. This is what I was designed to be. A wife. And hopefully not too long, a mother. The music changes and I hear my cue. My Daddy and I step forward as the church stands and a hush comes over the group. I see nothing but him. The most handsome guy in school. The boy I prayed about when I was thirteen. The boy who gave me my first kiss. And I was about to become his forever! Could anyone ever be so lucky as me?!!

Yesterday we celebrated nine years of marriage! It has been a crazy, exhilarating, fruitful, fun, heartbreaking, romantic perfect nine years. I am married to my very best friend, and I wouldn't ask for anything more than what he is, because he strives every single day to be exactly the man that God wants him to be. So insert the happy dance here because that is totally what I was doing! :) Here's to another nine years!!!

Happy Anniversary!!
You gave me goosebumps as I read this. I have thought about the same things in our last 10 1/2 yrs of our marriage.

However,I thought I was never gonna get married b/c I actually did not have a boyfriend till I was 19. Then after a couple years went by and it did not work out I thought for sure I would never be a bride as all my friends were getting married around me.

But it was not untill Gods perfect time did I meet my Prince!
Isn't God AWSOME?!

Ok enough rambling, again
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Have a great weekend. :)
