We (Mom, Grandma, Shanna and her kiddos, and me and mine) drove a little past Brady today to take some pictures in the wildflowers. All I was thinking about was eating at The Hard Eight BBQ place, so we are not dressed up and all matching (Shanna showed up with nice matching dresses and shirts for her family...thanks a lot!). But the pictures that I got were pretty cute anyway, and the ones I put in the house will be turned to black and white or sepia, so my lack of planning will not be evident! Lunch was fantastic by the way...

I was not thinking when we went out to look at flowers that I would be in any of the pictures...actually I was not thinking about anything when it came to what we were wearing, or we would have been coordinated in our clothing. Really. We would have. 
I told her that we could NOT pick the bluebonnets. It is against the law. But she had it out of the ground and in her mouth a lot faster than I could reach over and stop the illegal move!
She is smelling the pretty yellow flower...or sniffing pollen...maybe that was why she got so hyper...hmmmmm

Oh my gosh, Stephanie!! They are so beautiful. Ellie is getting so big!! Dido on what Jen said about wishing that we were closer to see them grow up!! You guys are adorable!!!
