It has been such a busy couple of weeks in my house! I had a wonderful baby shower a week ago and was loaded up with new little pink things for our soon to be here baby. I got some really great things! To prepare for the inundation of "stuff" that I knew was coming, I had to rearrange bedrooms. So my mom and I moved Faith and the baby's crib into Gracie's room, and we now call it the "girls room". All three of our princesses will share that one room. Good thing it has two closets and lots of square footage! The other room was converted into a playroom. It is awesome to have a room designated for the mess of playing children! I can simply shut the door if the mess bothers me. They really seem to like having a play room of their own too. The sleeping room, as Gracie calls it, stays so clean that we no longer have to worry about tripping over all the cute little toys in the middle of the night and stifling the words that want so badly to be let free (loudly) when all is silent in the house. So with that complete, I had a garage full of excess "things" that needed to be cleared out. That brings us to the current weekend where we are holding a garage sale. Why is it that when you have a garage sale, the inside of the house gets so messy? It is like a tornado rips through my house, and I never even step foot inside! I really despise having garage sales, but I always seem to have enough crap to host one on an annual basis. It is nice to get an extra hundred buck or so from the things I no longer need but paid lots of money for. Today we had the weirdest redneck moment I have ever encountered. Some lady actually RETURNED a garage sale item. A $3 suit. She wanted her money back. She did buy some more things so she actually got a credit, but seriously. It is a garage sale. AND someone STOLE my down comforter. Those aren't exactly cheap and it was only marked $10 (I would have taken less!). But could they ask me to or even just pay the measely $10? NO!! They just took it! I just cannot believe people stoop low enough to steal from a garage sale. It just makes me so mad!! If they really needed it that badly, I would have donated to their cause if they had only asked. Ugh!
Now that I am off my soapbox (what exactly does that mean anyway?), I am sleepy, so maybe in a week or so...hahaha...I will tell you more about the busy happenings in the house of girls.

At our last garage sale some guy brought back a 25 cent lamp shade and wanted his money back because it looked a different shade of white in his house than it did when he bought it. Kevin laughed at him and told him we weren't Walmart and he couldn't have a refund.
Are you EVER going to post again? Tell me what you got at your baby shower. You know, the one I forgot to send something to. Or tell me what the girls are going to be for halloween. Or tell me how the playroom/bedroom renovations are going. ANYTHING!!!!! please. please. write something. before i go crazy checking this thing everyday.
