The tree at 6:30. Because we told them they had to wait until 6:30...so at 6:31, they were in our room...
They had all the gifts sorted and ready to open.
They really didn't rush. They took their time, looking at and opening each thing.
We were just kind of sitting around talking...no one was opening anything...I'm not sure why, but it was nice!
And this is Kit. They both have blond hair, freckles, and blue eyes...
And this is Ruthie. Ellie asked me last night if I could have her a sister...and that she was going to name her Ruthie Diane.
Ellie is the most lazy on Christmas morning...and has been her whole life. She sits in the chair in a daze then ever so slowly begins to unwrap things.
The aftermath that Cam cleaned up because is he great that way. The one lone gift in the middle is for Mollie...because she wouldn't put the deer leg down long enough to open hers. Sheesh.
It was a great Christmas! We drank our coffee and watched the Brady Bunch (doesn't everyone do that?!). We had a big breakfast before which the girls wanted to sing to Jesus, because this day is all about Him and the greatest gift we have ever been given. I love that we got to church to worship on Jesus Birthday. I think it would be nice to get to do that every year!
