Move Day!!

Tomorrow is moving day. And I must admit, while I am terribly excited that the moves will be over for awhile, I am so nervous! When we walked through the demo townhome, we had not made the decision to move here. Now that we are going to live there, I am being more critical (not good) of the new home in my mind.

We still haven't really made a decision about the girls bed situation either. We are going between letting all three of them sleep in one bed (perhaps sideways instead of the traditional way) and buying a bunkbed. Ellie mostly sleeps with us or on the floor next to us, but I want her to start sleeping in her own room. But when we talk about bunkbeds, there are basically three options that we are looking at. cheap, middle, and ridiculously expensive dream cottage princess that the girls adore. I like the middle range. Of course. But I am cheap too, so I would really rather not s
spend any money that I don't have to spend. Ughhhhhh So many decisions. One step at a time.

The weekend after we move, the 3rd, I am going to Colorado until the 15th. So, I really only have a week to unpack and make decisions. Then I go on vacation with my best friend and our kids, then I have a week before we start first grade. How, you may ask, will I get it all done? I am a woman. That's how. :) But maybe I can convince my Mama to come home with us...

If you are willing to wait up to six months for delivery???? When I was shopping for bunk beds for Alexis, I went furniture shopping and found exactly what I wanted. I got the manufacturer, model# etc. Then I logged onto a website located in the state of North Carolina and told them exactly what I was wanting to purchase. The retailers in that state then started to contact me to give me their bid. I ended up going with the retailer who was able to get me the entire furniture set for the cost of just the bunkbed frame in the store. So I got the bunkbed frame, two mattresses, long 8 drawerdresser, night stand and mirror for the cost of just the bunkbed frame. I received it, six months after I ordered it, so you have to be willing to wait to get the furniture of your dreams. Freight might be more expensive too with gas prices so high. If you want the website address just send me an email. mullinsamber@hotmail.com
