Gracie Tidbits

As perviously mentioned, I got a new washer. Well, I posted the old washer on Freecycle so that someone could have it and come rid me of it. The people were supposed to come pick it on Wednesday. That didn't happen. I told them to call first to make sure I was home. Well, they didn't. And she was all upset because they drove ALL THE WAY over here and I wasn't home. Then, they came a second time. Without calling. Only this time, Gracie answered the door and informed them that I was sleeping (this was the day Ellie kept me up all night). Then, at suppertime that night, I was telling Cameron that I gave it away and that the people should have already come to get it, when Gracie says, "Oh. This man came to the door today while you were sleeping..." !!!!! We had to have a talk about the dangers of answereing the door without a parent around and also about telling strangers you are basically unspervised. And the whole not relaying messages to Mama and all that. Crazy child!!

The next day, I was changing Ellie's diaper, and she asked me if there was food in it. I looked at her puzzled, and she explained to me that Daddy had changed Ellie's diaper earlier and that it was full of food. I told her that all of us have food in our poop. She replied, "well, I always look at my poop and I don't ever see food, but maybe it is just inside it." Ewwwwww...

We are having to talk to Shelby about the fact that you can't trust everyone. It's so hard because you really don't know who you CAN trust. Shelby is just the sweetest most trusting person there is and hardly never meets a stranger so this concept is hard for her but I think she may be picking up on it. And the poop story...GROSS!!! hehehe!!!

HaHa, love the poo question! She is just so cute! But seriously, she is just like her cousin Caleb, he doesn't meet a stranger! Yikes!

That is scarey about her answering the door. You don't know who you can trust anymore these days. And you were the only adult home sleeping? Oh goodness, that's scarey!!
Gracie has to be the cutest and sweetest little girl. She is too funny. Tell her to eat corn and then she'll see some food in her poo. :)
