Yesterday, we went to McDonalds (I know! It is a nasty place to begin with.), and Faith had a RAW (I mean, completely pink and red with no white whatsoever with the crust not crusty) chicken McNugget. I'm not sure if you remember, but Faith had Salmonella food poisoning right after she turned one and was in the hospital for a week. We still have no idea what caused that one...Anyway, Faith ate a big bite and swallowed before we saw the nasty nugget. So now we are waiting with our fingers crossed and praying like crazy that the thing wasn't contaminated and that she doesn't become ill. We told the manager, showed her the nugget, and in her rudeness (hard to admit they screwed up I guess OR I guess it could be too many false lawsuits), anywho, we got out measley $3 back and some contact info just in case she gets sick. Ooooooohhhh, I hope not! I, of course, came home with a tummy ache and researched all about raw chicken, and if she gets sick, it should be within 18-48 hours. 18 hours is around 6 tonight. I'll keep y'all posted!!
By the way...did you all notice the comments on the muffin post?!! WOW. I am going to start taking pictures of food more often! I will definitely take some of the homemade sandwich buns I am making for our sandwiches tonight and the burgers on Saturday...
