I went on a most special date last weekend with a group of ladies that have become my family over the last two years. I have laughed with them, cried with them, sat silent with them. I know that wherever I am, I will hold dear the memories that include them.
We started the evening at PF Changs where we did our meal family style, enabling us to taste and try all kinds of wonderfully delicious food! For dessert, Kerri and I decided to split what you see above. It is a cinnamon sprinkled banana fried in a wonton wrapper then drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauce. The ice cream is coconut pineapple. It was crisp, light, and my new favorite thing. Other than crab puffs. But that is a just because as I type this, I am craving them.

This is me with Dana and Kerri. They are mother/daughter if you can't tell (ha!). I love them.
We were on top of Bass Hall on the balcony. I wanted to capture the beauty of downtown at night...it didn't work really, but you can see how high we were!
This is Kerri, Betty (her Nana--Dana's mom), and Barbara (her granny--Dana's mom in law). The two grandmas are best friends, which I think is the neatest thing! See the angel in the background?? Isn't she pretty!?
This is what we saw at Bass Hall. I had not ever heard of it, but apparently it is a great movie too! The play was one of the neatest experiences I have ever had. I have never been to see a musical live, especially at a venue as beautiful as Bass Hall. It was an experience to remember!
Cute Sisters. Nikki and Kerri. Love these girls.
And you can see why I love them...this is what happened with I left my phone unguarded...
