Cupcakes.

As you all know, I love cupcakes.  All flavors.  Fancy ones.  Plain ones.  Anything with cupcakes on it.  I just love them.  There is just something about the cuteness and the way the frosting gets all over your lip when you bite into one...

Well, yesterday, I made some fancy ones.  They were a chocolate cake filled with a vanilla pastry cream, topped with chocolate ganache and finished with a creamy vanilla buttercream swirl on top.  Really, it was like a homemade version of a Hostess cupcake.   I should have taken a picture to show you, but I was too busy licking my fingers and smacking my lips. :)
