Nothingness.

There is nothing happening here.  I have nothing to blog about!  Oh Wait.  I do. :)

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go shopping with my own personal shopper.  It's this thing that Southwestern (Cam's school) does.  A group of us went to Dillards to get a new dress, blazer, purse, and shoes--and the school picked up the bill.  It was such a blessing!  I have to admit that I don't wear "classy" clothes.  I wear trendy things and comfortable things (jeans and a tee), so choosing a suit type outfit was intimidating!  This is what I was blessed with:

These are Fossil, and they are cushy and so comfy!!  Not to mention super cute.

This is me after shopping all day trying on my outfit (without the jacket obviously), so don't make fun of my hair.  I know it looks goofy.  Or my posture.   The shoes make me stand over 6 feet tall, so I slouch. And don't compare me to the model wearing the same dress that I posted above.  Really, maybe I shouldn't have posted the pic!  ha!!

THEN,  today they took us to the Premier Jewelry warehouse in Dallas to chose three pieces of jewelry to go with our outfits (or 2 to match and 1 that we just wanted).  I got these three necklaces, and they are just beautiful!!  If you think you have to have one, let me know, I know a great Premier consultant ;)

I can't believe I forgot to share all that!  It was so much fun...I mean really.  I think this is the only time I have ever bought shoes and a handbag, or really almost anything that were NOT on sale.  Not that I'm complaining about that...I am all for getting the most of my money, and I am most definitely a sale shopper, but this was FUN.  I felt so...special.  

*I totally have to post my THANK YOU to my friend Cathy for loving on my girls both days that I was off gallivanting around town shopping.  I wouldn't have been able to go without her sacrificing her home and time (and most likely some sanity after watching them all day) for my babies.  So, THANK YOU CATHY!!  :)
