Midweek

This week is dragging!  I feel like it should be Friday!  I'm not sure what we have done, but it feels like we have done a lot.  Let's see.  Monday, I stayed in sweats all day.  I took Mollie to the groomer and realized I had gotten sidetracked and didn't finish my make-up.  Good thing he hangs out with funky dogs all day!  Tuesday, I was making lasagna at 8am for dinner.  The girls and I ran to Sams and spent the rest of the day at the pool at Cam's school.  It was a nice little bit of something different.  Not to mention that I got to have adult time with my girlfriend.  Today, I have made a pound cake for the local deer shop, homemade strawberry mini cupcakes with buttercream frosting and chocolate chip cookie cupcakes.  I'm not sure I like either of them though.  I am also babysitting a 5 month old today.  And I have to cook dinner for 30 youth. And we have had school.  Everyday this week.  We are doing good!  haha.  Tomorrow, I get to take Shawna (sis in love) to lunch for her birthday that was Monday.  And I get to go without the kids!  I can't wait!

I am also reading through the Bible with the Bible pictured above.  It is FABULOUS.  It is like reading a novel.  It is NKJV, but the way it is divided up for you makes it really great.  I highly recommend this.  I find myself wanting really badly to skip ahead so I can see what happens!  And the Lord is speaking to me (well, of course He is!) in really great ways.  :)

I am also reading this book.  I don't recommend you reading it though unless you are ready to change.  It is by far THE most convicting book I have read (the Bible excluded).  It is taking me awhile to get through it though, because I have to stop and put it down to really think over what I just read.  It is so marked up now!  REALLY good book.

I'm reading a novel too.  I'm not sure about it.  It is Isolation by Travis Thrasher.  It is about a missionary family who is under severe attack by Satan.  It kind of scares me.  But I can't put it down.  Yikes!
