This is the best Christmas book for kids!

We try to always have a special time in the day to celebrate Jesus birthday. We usually have a birthday cake and we sing to the Father. This year, we circled around and read
Santa and the Christ Child. This book is fabulous! It brings Santa and Jesus together with Santa kneeling down and worshipping Him. It really is a special book! Cambry read us the story of Jesus from Luke 2, and her cousins recited some sweet scripture. It was a fun time that let our children know there is more to Christmas than the gifts.

Thank you for sharing about this book. Jake and I have been talking a LOT about good ways to emphasize the IMPORTANT parts of Christmas with our children. I think the book and birthday cake are wonderful ideas... Don't be suprized if next year I'm blogging about "Santa and the ChristChild" and birthday cake! :)
