Refreshing!

Today has been the most refreshing day! It started with a tall handsome man bringing me cinnamon flavored coffee in bed while I relaxed reading a book (for a book report, but it is a fascinating book!) and talking with my girls. Then, Faith decided that today I needed breakfast in bed, so she brought me a donut on a tray :) I did some homework while my family was skyping our family in Austria. Words really can't describe the feeling I felt inside when we were able to see a family that much mirrors ours with smiles on their faces talking about baking with conversions in Europe. They have three girls just like we do, and the personalities of them all match perfectly. It was like a little glimpse into our future.

Then, while it was raining and fall-ish feeling, we put out our miserable looking fall decorations. haha! They really are quite pathetic, but it makes the girlies happy, so they remain. Ellie was just thrilled to create a pumpkin patch right in the middle of the living room floor.

Then, we cuddled on the couch and put in Jurassic Park (I wrote a paper, but I was in the same room!). Now we are putting in Jurassic Park 2 while we wait until it is close enough to dinner time to start the cheese dip and deer steak!

It has just been a good day of family and laziness. I needed it. A LOT.
