Gracie played Upward Basketball this year (Cam was her coach, and he also did a great job!). Those of you who know her, know that she isn't really "into" organized games of any sort. I was a little nervous that she would freeze up or refuse to play (not that I did that or anything...hehe). But she was *so* good!! She was our star defense player (in my opinion anyway). She kept her hands up and stayed on her man the whole time! She wasn't afraid to snatch the ball from the opposing team and run it down the court. She always had a smile on her face and a bounce in her run. She made many goals, and she sure made my heart swell with pride. She is growing up so fast. She is a beautiful young lady, inside and out! And I will admit, when they announced her name before the game and she ran out to the court amid fun sporty music, I teared up. Every game.
Notice my adorable grandparents talking behind the video. Grandma took the video...they are just too cute! They are also the BEST grandparents in the world!

You captured her season so well! She did do great, and we were glad to see her in action a few times. Go Gracie!
