After the yard sales last Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt that SWBTS puts on for its students' children. It was FREEZING!!! I think it was 40 degrees or something crazy like that. They had face painting, some singing, the Resurrection story re-telling, real bunnies, homemade goodies, a train ride, hot cocoa, and the big egg hunt. It was so miserably cold that Ellie wouldn't pick up any eggs, Faith stood with her hands in her pockets and teeth chattering saying that she just wa-wa-wa-wanted to go home, and Gracie and Cambry were the super fast egg picker uppers. lol It is such a neat thing that the school does, so we were bummed out that it was too cold to really truly enjoy.

Ellie brushed her own teeth. Well, the aim was her teeth. I'm not real sure what happened, but I do know that toothpaste is very very hard to remove from eyelashes.
Happy Birthday Cameron!! (yesterday)
This was Cam opening the card the girls picked out---Alvin and the Chipmunks singing something hilariously annoying...lol
They were really excited about the card...
REALLY excited...
He would NOT cooperate with my picture taking, so it is totally his fault that this picture makes him look like a scary monster (I will say that he was up until 2am studying Greek, so he had a hard time getting excited!)
Yep. The girls wanted to get him a tennis racket. Complete with a nice racket for themselves and pink tennis balls. Ellie contributed Dora tennis balls. He also got a super cute scrapbooky mug from Starbucks with pics of his girls in it (it is a bit girly, but he DOES have 4 of us in this house!) and an iTunes gift card so he can buy some silly Mountain Trail game or something to play on his phone...And this is where I get to say what an amazing husband I have. And how completely proud I am to be his wife. He works two jobs and goes to school full time yet still takes the time to sit on the floor and play games with his girls. He never lets a door close behind him without first giving all four of us a hug and a kiss and a declaration of how much he loves us. And more important than all that, he makes Christ the most important part of our lives. I love him so much more than I ever thought it possible to love another person, and I thank my Father for choosing him to be my forever best friend, the love of my life.

Happy Birthday to Cameron!!
You do have a great guy!! You can tell he loves his girls!!
Isn't it always cold during Easter??
Well, he's a pretty lucky guy to have the 4 of you, too!
Have to say, is'nt God amazing. We are two very lucky ladies to have found such great men. The last paragraph you wrote brought tears of joy, to know you have such a wonderful husband. I know exactly what you are talking about and sometimes when I have my doubts about God's plan, I think to myself, But Amanda look at what God has already given you.
