As Gracie and I were going over her Awana's verses, we got to one about being saved. I asked Gracie if she were to die, did she know where she would go. We have had this conversation before and she usually answered that she wasn't sure. Last night, in a voice full of tears, she said, "I would go to hell because I haven't asked Jesus into my heart." Then she started crying. Hard. I sat there a bit stunned at first. Then I grabbed my Bible and started reading her some verses. Cameron was in class, so I asked her if she wanted to wait until Daddy got home so we could talk to her about all this together. She said, no!! She wanted to pray with me. So, we did. With tears in both our eyes, American Idol paused on the tv, cuddled up in the recliner, I had the immense honor of leading my baby to the Lord. As soon as she said Amen, her eyes lit up, she had a face splitting smile on her face, and she started giggling. She couldn't stop giggling. There was a visible joy bubbling out of her! She wanted to know how long until Daddy got home because she wanted to tell him! She has been on the phone all morning...
WOOHOO!!! The devil lost another one last night!!
