Faith had already gotten her goofy medicine. It didn't make her goofy at all, but it made her reaction really really slow. Her smile was slow and a little weird and her kisses were like slow motion.
Faith and Daddy and al the toys waiting for them to come take her away
Faith was allowed two comfort items. We gave in (don't judge!) and let her bring one of Ellie's pacifiers, and she wanted to bring Lily. The nurses gave Lily an arm band to match Faith's and even gave her an allergy that said she must be with mom at all times. So Lily got to go into the back with Faith.
I just thought the crack picture was too cute. You scrapbookers understand and would have done the same thing!
Faith had some procedures done this morning at the hospital to get to the bottom of her health problems (she has blood in her stool). She had a colonoscopy and another scope done. We all survived the trip into Cooks hospital (this was where Chloe was pronounced and we have not been back since). She did really well with the medicine and didn't cry when they wheeled her away! We won't know any results for five days (and I assume those are business days) other than the fact that she did not have polyps. She had some minor inflammation in her bowels and intestines (could be indicative of anything from constipation to Krohns) but otherwise looks normal. I am really thinking that Dr. Jen nailed it when she said it was allergies. I shouldn't admit that after putting her through all this. Do you know how hard it is or a 3 year old to have nothing but clear liquids for 24 hours??? It was awful. But anyway, I will keep y'all posted.
