The Day has Arrived

Today is the day that the moving truck arrives.

We have spent the last week in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma...unplanned but nice. Mrs. Val's funeral was exactly what I hope my funeral will be like. It was a celebration of who she was. And she was a godly woman. It was simply beautiful.

On our way home from Ozark, MO (the funeral), we stopped to spend some time with Cam's grandma and grandpa, Mush and Pa Wayne in Arkansas. They live in a gorgeous home on Beaver Lake, so we were able to swim and boat and just breathe. From there we stopped at our cousin's home in Oklahoma. My cousin Amanda graciously opened her doors to us (in her adorably decorated new house) and Cory (her fun husband) cooked us a fantastic dinner. Cam's cousins just happen to be their pastor/mentor/friend. So, his cousins and their three daughters came over for dinner as well. It was so refreshing! They surrounded us and prayed for us in a way that was so powerful...meant a lot to me.

And today, we must load up the little bit (I am sure it will seem like a TON) we are keeping in the moving truck and move it to Fort Worth to begin the new chapter in our life. This weekend we will sell everything else and be done! So, I will be missing for a while. Keep praying for us. This move isn't easy...
