My Babes
So, did you know, I mean, honestly KNOW and admit, that our children are little messengers that God uses to keep us in line with Him? I don't believe I have ever thought of them that way, but I can look back and see where they were the tool that was used to bring conviction to my life. In The Message Bible (it is in today's language), Psalm 8:2 talks about how "nursing infants gurgle choruses about you and toddlers shout the songs that drown out enemy talk". It just got me thinking about how when I am happy with my girls and not focused on a perfect house or on all the things I wrote on my To Do List, I am happy in the Lord. I have a thankful heart and I anger less easy. I adore the house that He provided for us. I don't "want" anything that I don't have. I am genuinely happy and show others around me that. When I stop and recognize the blessings that fill my life to overflowing, I am the Mommy that He wants me to be. I am the wife that Cameron deserves, and most importantly, I am the daughter that He desires to spend time with.

I love reading your posts about your journey to finding God's path! The service at my church this morning was about how discouragement can make us inefficient in following Christ and living day to day. It was completely applicable to me and it's rejuvinating to find that His word can change your mindset!
