So I have been told by more than one person that I have not posted since last Wednesday. I am so sorry, but if this is the highlight of your day, well...that is great! Really. I am glad you missed me!
Okay. We have been busy! Last week we went to Fort Worth so that Cam could take the test to become a licensed realtor. He passed the national part, but missed the state portion by two measley points! So, he has to re-take that portion of the test. I will let you know when and how he does...
We got to visit with lots of people while we there. I had the opportunity to see a friend and her girls (whom we have not seen in over 2 years!). Her blog is over there on the left...Mrs. Egg...
We got to see all of our Strange nephews and nieces. They are all getting so big! And I must say, they are all very nice looking kids! What lucky grandparents David and Kelly are to have such beautiful grandchildren!
Since we have been home, I have somehow developed the world's worst infection for a woman (mastitis). It is soooo painful! It is getting better now, but yesterday was AWFUL! And nursing Ellie still hurts pretty fiercely!
I took Gracie and Ellie to the doctor this morning for check-ups. Gracie is well rounded, in the 44th percentile in both height and weight and having 20/20 vision. She had to have the second dose of chicken pox vaccine, thanks to that new law. I told her Nurse Wendy was coming in to give her shot, and she replied, "Ummm...actually, I wasn't wanting to have a shot today." It was all I could do not to die laughing right then and there! She cried pretty good when she got it, so it must have hurt considering she didn't cry at all last year when she got 3 of them or when she had her ears pierced!
Ellie is small. No surprise there. She is 16 lb 12 oz (18th percentile). But she isn't falling off the growth chart, so we are good. She also took 4 steps yesterday!! That sets her new record! YAY!! She will be nine months on the 3rd, and that is really early for walking in this household. The other two girls didn't much of that until much much later.
And that about catches you all up on everything that has happened in the last 6 days! School is still going fine. We skipped Thurs, Fri, and Monday, so now we are playing catch-up. We are doing two days at a time until we get where we are supposed to be. I think just two more two-a-days, and we will be good. I really enjoy it, and Gracie seems to like it a lot too! It is great getting to spend so much one on one time with Gracie. It seems like the other two have gotten the majority of my attention for so long...

Thanks for the update. It isn't like you to not blog for almost a week! I knew something must have been wrong. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Hope you get better soon.
I couldn't believe that you haven't updated us in so long!! You should be ashamed, Steph!! Just kidding!! Mastitis is horrible......I've heard. I'm sorry that you have developed this horrible DISEASE!! Just jokin'.....it's not a disease. Poor Gracie!! :( Hope you feel better!! Luv ya, Steph!!

tell cameron it's ok--jared didn't pass the state portion the first time either. that's a hard test!!
Hey Steph,
I sympathize (sp?) with you on the whole infection thing. Been there, done that, don't want to go there again! Ouch!
