We had a great Halloween! The girls and their friend Aryna went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Ray Ray (Aryna's dad) pulled them in the wagon since both Jaymie (Aryna's mom) and I are hugely pregnant and a little too whiny to pull a wagon for blocks and blocks. Faith picked up on what we were doing after about two houses. She would point at us and say something unintelligable that I assume was "be right back". She would then make her way up to the door and hold out her pumpkin until they shut the door on her. I guess she thought that the longer she stood there, the more candy she would get. It did work a few times. She would then SLOWLY make her way back to the wagon where the other two girls were already loaded up and waiting. I think she may have the hurry bone of her Daddy (it is missing). Gracie was the first to the door every time yelling "trick or treat!!". She doesn't like candy much and has yet to eat even one piece, but she thinks that trick or treating is super fun! Finally, we made it back to our house where Cameron was oh so busy playing Halo and handing out candy to the kiddos (he had to work late as it was the last day of the month, so he couldn't join us). We told the girls that we were going to one more house (ours) then heading home. None of them even realized it was home until they saw Daddy answer the door. Maybe we should use the front entrance more often so the kiddos know what our house looks like...
